Web & Web App Development

Your website often provides one of the first interactions people will have with your brand. It’s important that you make a great impression. Understanding high-performance web technology and how it can be tailored to achieve both your user and business goals is a core Bravo strength.

Embedded in all Bravo web solutions is a deep knowledge of the end-user and how they intuitively navigate your site. We adopt an agile user-experience design methodology right from the get-go. We also apply responsive design principles – optimised for desktop, smartphone and tablet.

The Bravo team has expertise in a variety of Content Management Systems (CMS), e-Commerce and custom technology solutions. We develop integrated solutions with a variety of third party systems and databases, allowing you full control of your content, inventory, customer management and engagement. We speak many coding languages and work on multiple platforms. Our team is particularly well versed in Umbraco, Sitecore, Magento, nopCommerce, WordPress and Drupal, and we are recognised as a top Magento Company on DesignRush.

Mobile App Development

Apps are indispensable in today’s 24/7 connected world. At Bravo, we have a passion for creating mobile apps that serve a real purpose for users, making their daily lives easier or better. The first question we ask is ‘What problem or need are we solving?’ followed by ‘What solution will this app provide?’

We create native apps for iOS (iPhones) and Android devices, as well as hybrid solutions where we create a single code-base that translates onto multiple device operating systems.

Payment & Ticketing Solutions

Integrating e-commerce requires an understanding of not only user expectations but deep knowledge of security requirements. Bravo has niche skills in both, developed through complex e-commerce projects for some of Australia’s most active ticket-based organisations.

We create digital solutions that integrate with all major payment gateways and providers. When there’s not an off-the-shelf solution that suits, we’re experts at building custom-made e-commerce platforms.

Bravo was the first digital agency in Australia to integrate Paypal’s ‘Here' card reader with Android devices for a driving instructor start-up called No Yelling. (Case study coming soon!)

Our approach

Research and define the challenge

At Bravo, our approach to design is research driven. Before we put pen to paper or fingers to keyboard, we explore how we can best meet your needs. This means listening carefully to your unique business drivers, delving into the latest design thinking, understanding your competitors, consulting with your target audience through surveys and interviews, and engaging with your project stakeholders.

Ideate solutions

Once we’re confident that we’ve understood your objectives and the possibilities for your business, we begin imagining and crafting solutions. With your end-user at the forefront of our minds, we start to design the roadmap for a seamless customer experience.

Interactive prototyping

After distilling our ideas, we translate the best ones into an interactive prototype. This is an often-underestimated project element but an important one as it allows us to test and amend our concept though clickable wireframes. Interactive prototyping means that the final solution fully considers the user-experience.

User testing

Whatever we build has to work and be easy to use. By this stage of your project, we’re pretty confident it will, thanks to all that upfront research, but we always test our design for usability and functionality. User testing, with real people, allows us to tweak our design - saving headaches and cost further down the track.

Visual design

At this stage of the project, it’s time to think about the user interface. Not only is functionality important, visual design is critical in a successful technology solution. Getting the look and feel right requires creativity blended with an understanding of your brand identity and the anticipated user-experience.

A fragment of styleguide

This is where we build the final digital solution, taking on board feedback, continuously testing and optimising performance, and bringing ideas to life. It’s the phase of the project where we put all of the pieces of the complex technology puzzle into place for delivery, including hosting, analytics setup and robust security.

Launch and ongoing support

After receiving your sign off on the final product, we go live and launch your technology solution. But the buck doesn’t stop here – we stick around to make sure it’s performing, helping you with maintenance and feature enhancement. Your project may end, but we promise we’ll stay in touch to help you maximise results.
